On Wednesday the 12th June we travelled by train from the Paris apartment in Villa Victor Hugo to Disneyland. Dad had booked a hotel called the Newport Bay Club for 2 nights. Madeleine and Daniel enjoyed a huge buffet dinner at the restaurant in the hotel before having a good night's rest.... ready for the next 2 days in Disneyland.....

A visit to Versailles

On our first day in the city of Paris we visited the area called "La Defense". Here we enjoyed a crepe at a bakery with a great name (see below). We gave the food a big Thumbs Up.

Montfort-l'Amaury

After arriving at Paris airport we were met by Daddy's friend Etienne who drove us to his country house in Monfort-l'Amaury. This was to be the location for a party for his wife Alicia later that day. After a short visit to the house Etienne took us to our hotel in the village.

Albury to Paris

After getting up at 4:30 in the morning we were chauffeured to Albury airport by Jase in his new car.
What a surprise it was to see our friends the Van Zantens at the airport to wave us off!
