Albury to Paris

After getting up at 4:30 in the morning we were chauffeured to Albury airport by Jase in his new car.
What a surprise it was to see our friends the Van Zantens at the airport to wave us off!

We flew from Albury to Sydney and then had such a long time to wait for our next flight that we went to a park and a cafe at Rushcutter's Bay.

The flight to Singapore was in business class. Madeleine sat next to Mum for half the trip and then she moved to sit near Dad. The seats were very cool because they became beds when it was time to sleep. Daniel watched a movie called "Fantastic Mr Fox" and Madeleine watched Disney Junior. We arrived in Singapore and Madeleine was so tired she fell asleep in the lounge. Daniel was hungry and enjoyed a ham roll.

The Air France flight was very long and not in business class. It took 13 hours to reach Paris from Singapore. We were met at the airport by Daddy's friend Etienne who then took us to his house in the country..........
