Sailing Boats at the Jardin du Luxembourg
So, after taking the bus from Avenue Victor Hugo, past the Trocadero, The Eiffel Tower, the Ecole Militaire, Les Invalides and Montparnasse we arrived at the Jardin du Luxembourg. We still don't know why there were a huge number of runners circumnavigating the gardens but we tried not to get in their way.
Our main objective was to sail a boat in the pond in front of the palace. Luckily the man who hired out the boats turned up just as we did. You can hire a boat for 30 minutes of fun.

Gemma will be most impressed when she sees the name of your boat, Madeleine. Her favourite thing in the world at the moment is her tiny turtle, called crystal. The boat racing looks exciting and you certainly gave your boats some interesting "adventures" on the water.
ReplyDeleteThe pedal cars look rather dashing. Obviously no crash helmet laws in Paris. Did they have a horn or a bell?
We are looking forward to hearing about your next adventures. Lots of love, Nanna and Pop
